Save Kissinger’s Life

kissingerKissinger was brought into Indianapolis Animal Care and Control as a stray. He is emaciated, has a prolapsed rectum and blocked nasal passages. Despite his pain, he’s a sweet boy and loves to give kisses – hence his name.

Can you please help us with a $10 donation for Kissinger’s ultrasound?

He has been receiving fluids and medicine at VCA Beech Grove, but he’s starting to fade. We need to raise a minimum of $300 by Monday April 8 for an ultrasound to determine why he is so ill. His current veterinary bill is $800 and he still needs surgery to repair his prolapsed rectum and to open his nasal passages. Overall, we expect his care to cost $3000. That sounds like a lot – but even with small donations we are confident our amazing community can come through for him.

*UPDATE* – Thanks to our incredibly generous supporters, we have raised enough to cover Kissinger’s ultrasound and his treatment to date. THANK YOU!!!!! We’ve changed our goal to the full $3000 we estimate to be needed for his care, including his upcoming surgery. Can you help us get there?

Donations can be made via Paypal using the button above, by directly to the vet at VCA Beech Grove. Please make sure to note the payment is for Mended Hearts Rescue.
